Inside Figma's HQ: talking creativity with Jake Albaugh
Where are the communities for creative coders? For designers? Not just to show their work, but to actually connect, collaborate, and grow together? I got the chance to visit Figma's developer advocate, Jake Albaugh, in their San Francisco office to talk about why creativity matters - and how to find people to share and grow with. #creativity #webdevelopment #design #figma

Yeah billionaires famously used to build public services, housing and parks for the good of humanity. No one becomes a billionaire without exploiting other people.
Is there any tutorial for this ?
💯💯💯
This was sooooooo funny and I love to see great developers doing stuff like this, I can't wait for Episode 2!

We need someone going "it will keel"
Beautiful work Jason. I’m loving the content and inspiration that you are providing this community. I’ve started taking the approach of building things because I can recently, and it has really made a world of difference. I realized that I wasn’t having fun in web and I had to take a step back. I took a week off work to reflect on why I loved creating in the first place. It was never about the money or a job… it was about having fun. I came back rejuvenated and said screw it, let’s have fun again.
I love that. so happy to hear you found your spark again!
Cyber guy here. Been interested in webdev/dev/llms. Immediate sub. Great positive vibe. 🎉just all around good content.
Thanks so much! Happy to see you here. 💜
we got master chef dev version before gta 6
Another killer video!
Only good vibes can be found here 🙌🏼
I'm so happy for this. Its like a Netflix series for developers except you actually watch it and be inspired to acquire the expertise of the characters who are not characters but actually real and skilled developers. Keep it coming!
thank you so much!
Great episode guys. Totally enjoyed this.
I really wish I hadn't seen this video. The stuff these developers are making seems so fun and awesome, and I have no idea what they were saying 99% of the time. If I was asked to do this I would fail miserably.
don’t forget that we were helping each other and had Carter there for support. no one was alone! 💜
This video inspired me to create a new pet project so that I can try out a new programming language thank you for that
YES so happy to hear that! and just in case: there’s an active challenge and giveaway leading up to the next episode if you want to play along with the community! www.learnwithjason.dev/blog/web-dev-challenge-giveaway-full-stack-amplify
just beautiful, learn is just this.Play commit errors, share stuff with other people and go to the next step alone and together. Help me to forgot how sometimes everything turns so repetitive
I would much rather watch developer shows like this. Great job on the episode!
thank you!
I absolutely loved the editing. I wanna see more of these episodes 🤩
thanks so much! more on the way!

Really nice energy in the room, had fun watching the video!
Jack talks the talk and walks the walk! Incredible video!
Instead extracting just the login page you extracted the whole site instead and left the login page? 😆
the fanfic generator was the first thing it came to my head when ai started to peak lol, i love Lizzie's project but all of them were amazing! really enjoyed this format

I cared so much about my coworkers, that when our employer mistreated them, I quit. I still worried about my friends there and a year later they’re reaching out about how bad it’s become. Be loyal to good people, not some greed machine.
"be loyal to good people" is a great reminder when people start talking about loyalty
